When you search for a service, results are ranked in three tiers. First, businesses you've personally trusted. Second, businesses trusted by your connections and their networks. Finally, everyone else, sorted by distance.

Tier 1 — Trusted by You
Businesses you've personally marked as trusted. These always appear first in your search results.
Tier 2 — Network Trusts
Businesses trusted by your connections, or trusted by businesses you trust. The closer the link, the higher they rank.
Tier 3 — Everyone Else
All other active businesses, sorted by distance from your location. This is the only tier visible to users who aren't signed in.
